About Us

As a new initative to provide each of our employed and staff physicians top-of-the-line CME (Continuing Medical Education) opportunities, Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE:HMA) has launched this interactive website that allows each of our physicians to register and attend online CME Webcasts absolutely free of charge.

CME Webcasts

Each CME Webcast consists of a 45-90 minute video program that has been synced in with a PowerPoint presentation that allows HMA Physicians to earn the CME credits they require from the comfort of thier own home or office. Once you register with the website, you can access each of the programs we offer whenever you would like. We do typically offer approximately 5 new CME programs each month, so be sure to check back often for new updates. If you are an HMA Physician and you are not yet registered, please register today.

CME Symposiums

Physicians Regional Medical Center, in conjuction with Medical Surgical Specialists (both of which are HMA operations in Naples, FL) are the content providers of the HMA CME Programs showcased on this website. Physicians Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Physicians Regional Medical Center designates this activity for a maximum of 1.0 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each Physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity. Each CME Program has been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, Provider #NCE2333, for 1 contact hour. Each Nurse should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
