Eager to exchange learned opinions on specific topics of interest, Medical Surgical Specialists physicians ( a multispecialty group affiliated with Physicians Regional Medical Center ) host many professional lectures and conferences throughout the year. Grand Round conferences are held weekly, while one to three-day symposia are held multiple times a year attracting physicians both nationally and internationally. As a key responsibility of the CME Program, the provision of high quality medical education for physicians and allied health professionals help to foster excellence in patient care through the expansion of medical knowledge amongst medical colleagues. Our major responsibility is to keep physicians and allied health professionals apprised of new information, techniques, and technologies that they can apply in their daily practices to benefit their patients. Our mission is to develop educational programs of an appropriate scope and depth to satisfy the needs for knowledge and skill development, which participants wish to acquire, develop or reinforce.
